About the Founder – Victor Yan
Thank you for visiting VYINGS. I’m Victor Yan, the founder of this company. With over 20 years of experience in IT, I’ve had the opportunity to work across multiple industries, honing my skills in both technical and customer-focused aspects of the field. My career began in an IT call center, where I simultaneously supported five clients of varying sizes. This early exposure gave me a broad understanding of IT operations and services across different industries, allowing me to grasp how technology can directly align with business needs and improve customer satisfaction.
My passion for delivering exceptional customer service was first cultivated during my time as a restaurant manager before transitioning to IT. This experience has always influenced how I approach IT, ensuring that every solution I create is user-focused, efficient, and serves the business objectives of the clients I work with.
As I progressed in my career, I held various leadership positions, including serving as Head of IT for several organizations. I led IT operations, managed teams, and drove strategic initiatives such as cloud migration, cybersecurity, and infrastructure upgrades, all while focusing on efficiency, scalability, and meeting business objectives. I also implemented cost-saving initiatives such as managed printing solutions and mobility contract optimizations, reducing IT support time and improving user experiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with many small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and one challenge I’ve consistently seen is their difficulty in finding IT support. When SMBs search for IT services, they’re often met with large Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that require expensive, long-term contracts—something many small businesses simply can’t afford. While VYINGS also offers managed IT services, I understand that SMBs need more flexible options tailored to their growth.
One thing that sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about my customers. I don’t just offer remote support—I believe in meeting my clients in person, understanding their business firsthand, and building real relationships. Technology isn’t just about fixing issues; it’s about enabling business success. In-person meetings are a core part of how I engage with clients because I believe that’s how real connections are built. Even though we provide remote support when needed, I prioritize face-to-face interactions to ensure that every solution is aligned with my clients’ unique needs and future growth.
